New Iranian Barrage Targets Greater Tel Aviv – One Killed, Several Wounded
Iranian missiles hit greater Tel Aviv, killing one and wounding several. Cluster munitions caused damage across Gush Dan, including Tel Aviv, Holon.
Jerusalem, 28 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — An Iranian missile barrage targeted the Gush Dan metropolitan area late Friday night, setting off sirens across greater Tel Aviv and sending residents into shelters as Israel’s air defenses engaged incoming fire.
Israeli media reported that one of the missiles carried a cluster-type warhead, scattering bomblets and creating multiple impact scenes across the region.
A man in his 60s was killed in Tel Aviv after being struck by shrapnel at one of the impact sites, according to an Israeli television report. The same report said the strike caused damage in about 10 separate locations.
Earlier emergency-service reporting cited multiple casualties at two sites, including critically wounded men at a construction site and another seriously wounded victim at a separate location.
Earlier Israeli reporting on the barrage described searches and emergency responses at sites in the Gush Dan area, including Tel Aviv, Holon, and Or Yehuda, after a missile with a dispersal warhead was fired toward central Israel.
