Israeli Military Begins Wave of Extensive Strikes Against Hezbollah in Beirut in Response to Rocket Attack
The Israeli military has initiated extensive strikes against Hezbollah in Beirut's Dahieh neighborhood after a Hezbollah rocket attack hit northern Israel.
Jerusalem, 11 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) has just begun a wave of extensive strikes targeting infrastructure of the terrorist organization Hezbollah in the Dahieh neighborhood in Beirut.
This new assault comes minutes after a Hezbollah rocket attack struck northern Israel.
“The IDF will continue to act with force against the terrorist organization Hezbollah, which decided to join the campaign and operate under the auspices of the Iranian terrorist regime,” it said adding that it “will not allow harm to the civilians of the State of Israel and will respond with force to any threat.”
