Jerusalem, 24 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Rescue and salvage forces of the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) Home Front Command are currently operating in collaboration with emergency organizations in the areas where reports of impacts have been received in the center of the country.

The IDF warned people to stay away from these areas until they are cleared and that it is necessary to avoid gatherings in these areas.

The Home Front Command called on the public to continue to heed the “life-saving instructions and to act accordingly as required upon receiving the alert.”

Israeli woke up Tuesday morning to scenes on the news of the damage done from an Iranian missile strike in Tel Aviv (see the images released by TPS-IL).

Whenever there is a missile attack, even when the missile is intercepted by Israel’s air defenses, the public must be aware of the dangers posed by fragments that fall to the ground. There is always a danger of explosive materials and from damaged structures that may seem fine but are actually now unstable.

This is why the public, including local residents, is warned to stay away from the area until the professionals can assess the damage and determine if it is safe to return.
