Israeli Forces Capture Lebanese Phalanges Terror Leader in Lebanon

Israeli forces arrested a Lebanese Phalanges squad leader in Lebanon during a nighttime operation, linked to Hezbollah.

Jerusalem, 25 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — During a special nighttime operation yesterday (Tuesday), forces from the IDF’s (Israel Defense Forces) Egoz infantry unit in the Mount Dov area in Lebanon and arrested a squad leader in the terrorist organization Lebanese Phalanges.

The Lebanese Phalanges is funded by the terrorist organization Hezbollah and is directly linked to it. Said the IDF. Its members are involved in the execution of terrorist plots against IDF units.

The activity was completed after prolonged intelligence surveillance and the terrorist was transferred for further investigation.
