Jerusalem, 29 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli ministers and senior officials laid the cornerstone for a new industrial park in Sderot on Thursday, marking a major step in rebuilding and economic development in the Gaza border region.

According to the Tekuma Directorate, which is overseeing post-war rehabilitation efforts, the Sapir B industrial park is expected to create roughly 5,000 jobs, positioning it as a key employment and growth hub in southern Israel.
