Weapons seized, 33 infiltrators found south

Israeli police and IDF forces arrested 33 infiltrators from Judea and Samaria and seized a Glock pistol and rifle with ammunition during operations in the.

Yesterday, as part of a joint operation with IDF forces, Arad station police officers arrested 33 illegal residents from Judea and Samaria near Road 80. All suspects were arrested and transferred for investigation at the Arad station. 

Today, as part of an operation by Ar’ara station police officers in the town of Ar’ara in the Negev, detectives identified a Honda Accord vehicle that aroused their suspicion. The team stopped the vehicle and after a search, a Glock pistol with a full magazine was seized from the driver. The driver was arrested for further investigation.

In addition, during searches carried out in the town, a hidden cache was located containing a rifle with 5.56 ammunition.
