Israel Invests $24M To Rebuild War-Damaged Agriculture

Israel's government is investing $24.4 million to restore war-damaged agriculture in the Tekuma region, near the Gaza border.

Jerusalem, 5 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli government will invest NIS 72 million ($24.4 million) to restore and develop agriculture damaged during the war in the Tekuma region, including communities within seven kilometers of the Gaza border.

The program will support greenhouses, irrigation systems, advanced equipment, livestock facilities and agricultural infrastructure.

The funding, from the Ministry of Agriculture and the Tekuma Administration, follows NIS 200 million ($67.8 million) already allocated in 2024-2025 as part of a broader rehabilitation plan.
