Clashes Erupt During Evacuation of Unauthorized Outpost in Gush Etzion; Three Soldiers Injured

Jerusalem, 10 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — An 18-year-old Israeli was arrested overnight on suspicion of assaulting security personnel during the evacuation of an unauthorized outpost near Ma’ale Amos in the Gush Etzion area south of Jerusalem, where three Israeli soldiers were injured in clashes with residents.

Israeli security forces arrived overnight to evacuate the outpost and encountered violent resistance.

During the confrontation, three Israel Defense Forces soldiers were injured. One suffered a broken nose after being punched and was evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem. Two others were treated after being sprayed with pepper spray.

Security forces used crowd-dispersal measures to restore order. Authorities said additional arrests are expected.
