Israeli Forces Eliminate Terrorist Squads in Lebanon
Israeli forces eliminated two terrorist squads in Lebanon, seizing weapons including Kalashnikovs, rockets, and mortar bombs from an underground depot.
Jerusalem, 16 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that, during an operation in Lebanon, its 869th “Shahaf” (Seagull) Field Intelligence Battalion identified two attempts by terrorist squads to carry out terrorist plots against Israeli Forces.
In a drone attack and a joint attack with the Israel Air Force, the terrorists were eliminated.
The forces also located numerous weapons, including: Kalashnikov-type weapons, anti-tank rockets, RPG launchers, and an underground weapons depot containing mortar bombs.
