Jerusalem, 5 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) announced that on Monday it coordinated the medical evacuation of approximately 120 Palestinian patients and their escorts from Gaza to Jordan via the Kerem Shalom crossing.

COGAT added that is continuing to work with international partners to arrange additional medical evacuations through Kerem Shalom and Ramon International Airport.

At the same time, the Rafah Border Crossing with Egypt remains operational. According to COGAT, around 2,100 people to date have entered Gaza and a similar number have exited.
