The Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, visited the Tel Nof Air Force base today (Tuesday) along with the base commander, Brig. Gen. S., and additional commanders.
During the visit, the Chief of Staff received an operational briefing on the activity, preparedness, and readiness of the various squadrons and units.
In addition, the Chief of Staff spoke with aircrew members, UAV operators, and base technicians, expressing his appreciation for their work during routine operations and specifically during Operation ‘Lion’s Roar’.
“On behalf of all the people of Israel – you are amazing, you are doing excellent work, I know you are doing it around the clock,” said the Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir. “Technical teams, without you, it would not have been possible to complete so many missions. This operational machine of the Air Force cannot stop, it must work all the time – mission after mission.”
“We are carrying out many missions here in an amazing way. ‘Air trains’ that were planned two months ago are now being launched and hitting targets with great precision. There are ‘bullet trains’ here, trains that launch quickly – trains that each go to their own missions.”
“The accumulation of these trains ultimately creates our ability to win, to defeat our enemies, and to reach them before they reach us. There are still great challenges here; we must not be complacent for a moment. I am confident in you, I am confident in the Air Force, I am confident in the IDF that it will move forward with great strength, with great faith, to save the people of Israel and to win this war. Thank you and good luck with your missions.”
