There is no change in the directives. The IDF is closely monitoring the situation, alert and ready to defend.

IDF spokesperson assures no change in directives, emphasizing close monitoring of Iran and readiness to defend; operations continue in Gaza and Lebanon.

“Over the past week, IDF forces continued to operate in all sectors, in defense and offense, deepening the damage to terror infrastructure alongside neutralizing terrorists,” said IDF Spokesperson, Maj. Gen. Efi Drorin, in his statement ahead of Shabbat.

“In the Gaza Strip, IDF forces are operating in the area of the ‘Iron Dome’ line, attacking terrorists, clearing the area of terror infrastructure, and significantly deepening the damage to the tunnel network. In Lebanon, we continue to operate daily against Hezbollah’s attempts to rebuild and rearm,” Maj. Gen. Efi Drorin continued. “An example of this is the strike we carried out yesterday in the Baalbek area, during which we hit ammunition concentrations and eliminated terrorists from the Radwan Force. We will not allow Hezbollah to rearm and pose a threat.”

“This week too, we are aware of the sense of uncertainty and tension prevailing in the public in light of regional developments,” said the IDF Spokesperson. “Therefore, it was important for me to speak with you. The IDF is diligently monitoring the situation in Iran and is alert and ready to defend you. We are operating in full coordination with our partners to strengthen defense.

“IDF forces are alert and ready so that you can continue your routine in security. I emphasize again – there is no change in instructions. If there is a change, I will be here, and we will provide a warning accordingly. Shabbat Shalom to all,” concluded the IDF Spokesperson.
