Yesterday (Wednesday), the IDF attacked in the central Gaza Strip and eliminated the terrorist Omar Ahmed Abu Qassem, a battalion sniper responsible in the military wing of the Hamas terror organization. Throughout the war, Abu Qassem took part in carrying out terror plots against IDF forces in the Gaza Strip. Recently, Abu Qassem tried to rehabilitate the military wing of the Hamas terror organization and promoted additional terror plots against IDF forces, in violation of the ceasefire agreement. IDF forces under the command of the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
