The Gaza Division (143) forces, led by the Southern Command and the National Ground Training Center, completed a large-scale multi-organizational exercise in the division’s sector.
During the exercise, division forces in the command centers and in the field practiced various scenarios, including: a combined enemy attack, managing a mass casualty incident, preventing a post attack in the area of the “red line,” and more.
The exercise scenarios and their progression were built upon the conclusions and lessons learned from the events of October 7th and the ongoing combat in the Gaza Strip. The scope of this exercise is the largest of all exercises completed since October 7th.
The exercise took place concurrently with ongoing operational activity in the sector, with the aim of examining the implementation of the defense concept, dealing with complex incidents, and transitioning from defense to offense.
