Home Front Command mobilizes 20,000 reservists for Operation "Lion's Roar," responding to dozens of impact sites and inquiries nationwide.

Home Front Command Commander, Major General Ori Gordin, visited the impact site in Be’er Sheva yesterday (Wednesday) along with Southern District Commander, Colonel Asher Binishiti, Ram Battalion Commander, Lieutenant Colonel A’, and Be’er Sheva Mayor, Rubik Danilovich. 

During the visit, the Home Front Command Commander praised the command’s fighters for their performance at the scene and emphasized the importance of citizens adhering to Home Front Command directives.

With the start of Operation “Lion’s Roar,” approximately 20,000 reservists were called up and are deployed in about 35 battalions across the country.

 

Since then, the command’s forces have responded to dozens of scenes across the country, including 13 significant impact sites, with immediate response and began search, rescue, and civilian assistance operations.

Concurrently, the Home Front Command’s Information Center is operating through approximately 120 stations and has so far responded to about 6,200 phone inquiries, in addition to handling hundreds of written inquiries.
