Immigration ‘Camp’ Being Held in Ukraine

Jerusalem, 11 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — A large-scale family ‘camp’ is taking place in Mokshava, Ukraine, organized by the Jewish Agency. Over 150 participants came from various cities across the country came together to discuss issues of history, culture, and the future of the jewish community.

Mark Dubev, head of the Nativ organization for immigration to Israel from the former Soviet Union’d office in Ukraine, spoke to the camp participants, gave lectures and held personal consultations. In his remarks, he presented an in-depth analysis of the “Law of Return,” while reviewing the process of its enactment and the development of the central principles that underlie modern immigration policy.

The audience was particularly interested in the philosophical lecture “From the Dnieper to Jerusalem and Back (for a Short Time),” in which Mark Dubev shared his personal story as a window into fundamental issues of Jewish identity, the values of family education, and the unique structure of Israeli society.
