New Integrated Transportation Center Approved for Bat Yam Holon

Israel's National Planning and Building Council approved the Yoseftal Complex, a new integrated transportation hub for Bat Yam and Holon.

Jerusalem, 5 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s National Planning and Building Council approved today (Tuesday) the plan of the Ministry of Transportation and the National Transportation Company to establish the Yoseftal Complex – an integrated transportation center in Bat Yam-Holon.

The Yoseftal complex is the first of seven integrated transportation centers that will be built along the Ayalon Highway and in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area, as part of the metro project: Alongside it will be built the Glilot, Tel Aviv Central, Hashalom, Hagana, Holon Junction and Kfar Ganim (Petah Tikva and Givat Shmuel) complexes. Together, they will create a dense and connected network of modern transportation centers, each of which will combine Israel Railways, metro lines, light rail and large bus terminals. For the first time in the Dan area, all means of public transportation will be connected under one roof, allowing the public to move smoothly and quickly between them.

The expressway is planned on the seam line between Bat Yam and Holon, along Yoseftal Street in Bat Yam and Hofin Street in Holon. As part of the plan, a central passenger hall will be built that connects all means of transportation, areas will be allocated for roads, landscape development, and transportation services for train movements, and the construction of overpasses and underground passages will be allowed to improve accessibility.
