Jerusalem, 25 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — To date, 19,123 claims have been filed with the Israel Tax Authority’s Compensation Fund for property damage, of which 12,754 are for damage to the structure, 1,904 for damage to contents and equipment, 4,050 for damage to a vehicle, and 415 for damage to another.
Teams from Compensation Fund – Property Tax, accompanied by engineers and appraisers, have been present in the various arenas since the beginning of the war with Iran, providing assistance to citizens whose homes and property were damaged.
As of this morning (March 25) 90 teams of the Compensation Fund are operating throughout the country: 37 of the teams in the Arad and Dimona areas, 27 teams in the central area, one team in Eilat and 22 teams in the north. In addition, three property tax teams are going to hotels throughout the country where evacuees have arrived and are assisting them in filing claims.
Of all the claims filed since February 28, 15,300 are claims in which an appraiser has already visited the site and estimated the damage or claims filed in the fast track where an appraiser visit is not required (80% of all claims).
