YAMAM fighters arrested a murder suspect after he fled and hid in Judea and Samaria under a false identity. The YAMAM the National Counter-Terrorism Unit operated to arrest a wanted individual.

According to the suspicion, after committing the murder, the suspect fled to the Judea and Samaria region, where he hid for a period and operated under a false identity in an attempt to evade law enforcement authorities. After prolonged investigative and intelligence activity, the conditions ripened for the suspect’s arrest in the city of Ramallah. Yamam fighters, who operated covertly, arrived at the structure where the suspect was hiding, raided the place, surprised him while he was sleeping in his bed, and pulled him out of bed for arrest and further investigation at the Negev District Police. There were no casualties among our forces.
