Two Israeli Arabs Indicted Over Shooting at Local Business

Two residents of Qalansawe, central Israel, were indicted Monday for a shooting at a local business, an act stemming from a family inheritance dispute.

Jerusalem, 23 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Two people in their 20s, residents of Qalansawe, an Arab city in central Israel, were arrested on suspicion of carrying out a shooting toward a business in the city belonging to the brother of one of them and, following an investigation, an indictment was filed against them on Monday.

An investigation found that the suspects carried out the shooting as a result backdrop of an inheritance dispute within the family.
