It is clarified that there is no change in the Commissioner’s directive, according to which anyone who comes to file a complaint with the police, or seeks the assistance of the police, will not be detained due to being a deserter. This directive is intended to allow the wider Haredi public to approach the Israel Police and involve them in incidents requiring police treatment, without any fear.
