Following a manhunt – suspect in today’s murder in Bnei Brak was arrested. In the afternoon hours, a report was received about a man who was stabbed in a yeshiva/kolel complex on Ha’Ari Street in Bnei Brak, after which the suspect fled the scene.

Suspect in Bnei Brak murder arrested after manhunt; victim and attacker knew each other.

The deceased, a resident of Bnei Brak (52), was evacuated in serious condition and later pronounced dead at the hospital. The commander of the Dan region, Commander Elad Klein, held a situation assessment with the commanders, and the investigation was assigned to the Crime Fighting Unit (Yalap) of the Dan region. The background to the incident is criminal. Preliminary investigation revealed that there was a prior acquaintance between the deceased and the suspect. It should be noted that there were no previous complaints from the deceased. The suspect (45) is a homeless person. As part of the manhunt that took place, a short while ago, police officers from the Bnei Brak Ramat Gan station, in cooperation with police officers from the Beit Shemesh station, located the suspect in Beit Shemesh, and he was arrested for investigation.
