A suspect was arrested in connection with an extortion incident involving threats that occurred last night in southern Tel Aviv. Last night, a report was received about a suspect who arrived at a kiosk on Derech Shlomo Street in Tel Aviv.

The owner of the establishment refused to hand over the money, and in response, the suspect (a resident of central Israel, aged 20) threatened the complainant that he would harm him, and then fled the scene. Police officers from the Shar’at station in the Ayalon district and Border Police fighters from the central district arrived at the scene and began investigating the circumstances of the incident, including searches for the suspect, who was located and arrested shortly thereafter.
