Following a Food Service inspection, *Listeria monocytogenes* bacteria were found in a 100-gram package of smoked salmon, Sterling brand, barcode 7290008340618, manufactured by Williger Industries Ltd.

  • Produced on: October 23, 2025 (only)
  • Deadline for use: November 23, 2025

*Listeria monocytogenes* is a bacterium that can cause illness in high-risk groups such as people with weakened immune systems, older adults, and pregnant women, in whom it may lead to miscarriage.

In coordination with the ministry of Health, we are halting the distribution of this product and recalling it from all marketing and distribution channels.

The public is urged not to consume the above-mentioned product.
