Two Convicted Terrorists Sentenced for Plotting Knesset Terror Attack

Jerusalem, 2 December, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Jerusalem District Court today sentenced Mustafa Abdel Nabi to 12 years in prison and Ahmed Netsha to 5 years in prison and a suspended sentence, after the two were convicted of planning a terrorist attack near the Knesset.

The defendants planned to detonate a truck bomb filled with gas tanks. They regularly watched ISIS videos that included religious sermons, beheadings, and various executions, and swore an oath of allegiance to the organization.

One of the defendants purchased materials and attempted to make an explosive device himself, while the other sought to obtain the tools and materials necessary for it. In addition, the defendants attempted to recruit accomplices to complete the attack. The attack was not carried out following their arrest, and despite the seriousness of their intentions, no actual damage was caused.

The defendants were convicted, each according to their part, of committing the offenses of preparation to commit a terrorist act of murder under aggravated circumstances, attempted use of a weapon for terrorist purposes, connection to a terrorist act of use of a weapon for terrorist purposes, training or instruction for a terrorist act, and membership in a terrorist organization.
