Jerusalem, 30 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Three Israelis were arrested, in two separate cases, on suspicion of carrying out missions for against the State of Israel. They were all caught before they could carry out any acts of terror in Israel.
As part of a joint operation by the Israel Police and the Shin Bet (Israel’s anti-terror General Security Service), on June 15, 2025, Mark Morgaine, 33, a resident of the Jordan Valley, was arrested. He is suspected of having been in contact with hostile intelligence elements from Iran during the month of June and of having carried out various missions directly operated by the hostile element.
In another case Yoni Segal, 18, and Nahorai Omri Mizrahi, 20, residents of Tiberias, were arrested on the night of June 14-15. The two are suspected of having been in contact with intelligence elements from a hostile country over the past two months, and of carrying out various tasks, including photographing malls and transmitting information about the number of security guards in the mall, the number of stores, the mall’s structure, and more.
In addition, there is suspicion that they were asked to eliminate an unknown Israeli person for hundreds of thousands of shekels. In order to carry out the assassination, they were asked to travel to another country, undergo training for the operation, and only then would they be given the target for the assassination.
