Israel plans to build seven new bus terminals in the north and center to enhance passenger service and prepare for electric transportation.

Jerusalem, 20 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Seven new bus terminals and overnight parking lots in the north and center of the country that Israel’s Ministry of Transportation said will enable improved service for passengers Israel are planned. Israel is promoting the construction of terminals, upgrading working conditions for drivers, and preparing for the era of electric transportation.

Each terminal will have operational parking lots, rest rooms for drivers, technical buildings and advanced infrastructure for managing and operating the buses. Some of the terminals, including Pardes Hanna and Eliakim, will also include stations for picking up and dropping off passengers and convenience services for the public.
