President Herzog to depart on State Visits to Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo
(Communicated by the President’s Spokesperson)
President Isaac Herzog will depart tomorrow (Monday, November 10, 2025) for State Visits to Zambia and the democratic republic of Congo. His visit will last approximately 24 hours, during which he will visit both countries.
The President’s visit to the African continent reflects the importance that the State of Israel places on strengthening its ties with Africa. The visit to Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, follows the recent reopening of the Israeli Embassy in the country.
During his visit, the President will meet with the President of Zambia, Hakainde Hichilema, and the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Félix Tshisekedi, as well as with other senior officials.
The diplomatic meetings to be held during the visit will focus on the international challenges of this time, on strengthening Israel’s standing in the international arena, on deepening bilateral diplomatic relations, and on advancing regional and global cooperation.
