Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today (Sunday, 21 December 2025), at his office in Jerusalem, with U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham

At the beginning of the meeting, Prime Minister Netanyahu said:

“It’s a pleasure to welcome Senator Lindsey [Graham], a great friend of Israel and a great personal friend. We have no better friends. A warm welcome to you”.

Senator Graham:

“You look great, Bibi. Happy Hanukkah to everybody. I come here for a purpose. We’ve had a lot of success in 2025. I want to make sure 2026 is the year of peace and knocking out the bad guy.
My impression is that hamas is not disarming; they’re rearming. It’s my impression that they’re trying to consolidate power, not give it up, in Gaza. It’s also my impression that Hezbollah is trying to make more weapons. That’s unacceptable outcome”.

Prime Minister Netanyahu responded:

“On both counts, you are right. You are usually right. I could also say ‘always’, but I have to leave some margin”.
