Jerusalem, 4 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — At the government meeting on Monday, Prime Minister Netanyahu outlined three goals for the war in Gaza.
“We must continue to stand together and fight together in order to achieve the objectives of the war we have set, all of them,” he declared. “Defeating the enemy, releasing our hostages and ensuring that Gaza will never again threaten Israel.”
Netanyahu said that, during the week, he will convene Israel’s Security Cabinet in order to direct the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) on how to achieve these three objectives, “all of them, without exception.”
