Israeli Forces Intercept Drone Smuggling 20 M-16 Weapons
Israeli forces intercepted a drone attempting to smuggle 20 M-16 weapons across the western border, thwarting a significant arms smuggling operation overnight.
Jerusalem, 30 December, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) said that overnight its forces foiled an attempt to smuggle 20 M-16 weapons through Israel’s western border by use of a drone.
The air control system identified a drone when it crossed from the west into the territory of the State of Israel in an attempt to smuggle the weapons. The drone was then intercepted.
