Israel and Bolivia to restore diplomatic ties

Jerusalem, 21 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Defense Forces said that a diplomatic delegation visiting Jenin on Wednesday deviated from a previously approved route before an incident in which soldiers fired warning shots in the air.
No casualties were reported.
Israeli forces have been conducting counterterror operations in the northern Samaria town.
The IDF said it is investigating the incident and will update representatives of the countries on the findings.
