Hostage Body Undergoing Identification Process
Israeli Health Ministry: Hostage body brought to National Center for Forensic Medicine for identification process and cause of death investigation.
Jerusalem, 18 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — According to a statement released by the Israeli Health Ministry, the body of an abducted hostage has been taken to the National Center for Forensic Medicine for identification purposes and to investigate the cause and circumstances of death.
“The teams at the National Center for Forensic Medicine, including forensic doctors and laboratory personnel, are prepared to provide the fastest possible response with the utmost sensitivity regarding information to the families,” the statement said.
The body was handed over to the Red Cross by Hamas late last night
