Hamas Threatens To Abduct IDF Soldiers

Jerusalem, 29 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The IDF’s expansion of operations into Gaza City, will increase the chances of capturing IDF soldiers, according to Hamas’ Military Wing spokesman Abu Obeida. He also threatened that Hamas terrorists are on high alert and will teach the IDF, what he referred to a ‘harsh lesson’. He claimed that “the responsibility for the fate of the hostages lies with the IDF and Netanyahu’s government. The hostages will be kept as safe as possible alongside Hamas.”
