Average Monthly Salary in Israel $4,275

Jerusalem, 9 november, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reported that the average salary for a salaried position at current prices in August 2025 was 13,935 Shekels ($4,275), an increase of 5% compared to August 2024 – 13,267 Shekels ($4,070).

The average salary for an employee position at constant prices (deducted by the monthly consumer price index) was 11,156 Shekels ($3,423), an increase of 2.1% compared to August 2024 – 10,925 Shekels ($3,352).

The number of salaried jobs was 4.088 million, a decrease of 2.5% compared to July 2025 (4.194 million) and an increase of 1.5% compared to August 2024 (4.027 million).

Average salary for an employee position at current prices – According to the flash estimates for September 2025, the average salary for an employee position at current prices for all employees was 13,761 Shekels ($4,222), an increase of 4.3% compared to September 2024 – 13,193 Shekels ($4,048). The average salary for an employee position at current prices for Israeli employees was 14,073 Shekels ($4,318), an increase of 4.7% compared to September 2024 – 13,445 Shekels ($4,125).

Salaried jobs – According to the flash estimates for September 2025, the number of salaried jobs for all employees was 4.278 million, a decrease of 0.7% compared to August 2025 (4.311 million) and an increase of 1.1% compared to September 2024 (4.232 million).

The number of salaried jobs for Israeli workers (out of the number of salaried jobs for all workers) was 4.051 million, a decrease of 0.9% compared to August 2025 (4.088 million) and an increase of 0.3% compared to September 2024 (4.040 million).
