Airport Detectives Thwart Attempt to Smuggle 21 Kilograms of Ketamine
Israeli airport detectives foil smuggling attempt as they uncover 21 kilograms of ketamine in passenger's luggage. Suspect arrested.
Jerusalem, 27 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Detectives at Ben Gurion Airport conducted an undercover operation there, monitoring a suspicious passenger who landed in Israel from France and discovered suspicious bags in his luggage containing approximately 21 kilograms of a substance suspected of being a ketamine.
The suspect (20) was arrested for questioning and all of the findings were transferred to the Israel Police’s forensic laboratories for further evidence extraction.
