Jerusalem, 29 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Police arrested 40 people in the Bedouin city of Rahat (located in the western Negev near Gaza), accused of being involved in family (tribal) disputes and blood feuds. They were ordered to remain out of the city for an extended period

The arrests came when police raided dozens of targets in the city last night to arrest the people it suspects were involved in violent incidents that occurred in recent days. Some of whom, assert the police, are allegedly involved in attempts to carry out blood feuds.

During the operation, a police officer was slightly injured and taken for medical treatment.

Also, a gun, ammunition, and a large amount of military equipment were found and seized.
