Earlier today (Saturday), in two separate incidents, forces from the Iron Fist Brigade’s (205) combat team, operating in the northern Gaza Strip, and forces from the Negev Brigade’s (12) combat team, operating in the southern Gaza Strip, identified two terrorists who crossed the demarcation line and approached the forces in a manner that posed an immediate threat. Immediately after the identification, the forces neutralized the terrorists to remove the threat. IDF forces under Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
