498 Illegal Immigrants and 46 Suspects in Their Harboring Arrested
Israeli police arrested 498 illegal immigrants and 46 suspects in Jerusalem and other sectors as part of Operation “Roaring Lion.”.
Jerusalem, 10 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — During the past week and with the launch of Operation “Roaring Lion” against Iran, Israeli police operated in various sectors to locate and thwart illegal immigrants. As part of the activity, 498 illegal immigrants were located, along with 46 people suspected of transporting, harboring, and employing illegal immigrants.
The majority of the activity was recorded in the Jerusalem sector and its environs, where 335 illegal residents were located.
In the Central sector, 72 illegal residents were located, in the Northern and Coastal sectors, 65 were located, and in the Southern sector, 26 illegal residents were located.
