Israeli Forces Eliminate Hezbollah Terrorists in Lebanon
Israeli forces eliminated a Hezbollah terrorist cell in southern Lebanon during a forward defense operation and discovered a significant weapons cache.
Jerusalem, 8 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that, during the past week, as part of its forward defense operation in the southern Lebanon area, forces identified a terrorist cell of the Hezbollah terrorist organization.
They called in an air strike and an Israel Air Force aircraft attacked and eliminated the terrorist cell.
Shortly thereafter, another terrorist was identified in the area and eliminated by the force.
The forces also located a cache of weapons in the area, including explosives, small arms, radios, and ammunition.
“The presence of terrorists in the villages area is another example of the cynical exploitation of civilian infrastructure for terrorist purposes by the Hezbollah terrorist organization,” said the IDF.
