Five Senior Lebanese IRGC Commanders Eliminated While Meeting in Beirut Hotel
The IDF reports eliminating five senior IRGC Quds Force commanders in a Beirut hotel overnight, including Majid Hassani, Ali Reza Bay-Azar, and Ahmad Rasouli.
Jerusalem, 8 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that the Israel Navy struck overnight in Lebanon and eliminated five commanders in the Quds Force’s Lebanon Corps and Palestine Corps in the IRGC, as they met in a hotel in Beirut.
The Quds Force’s Lebanon Corps serves as a central link between the terrorist organization Hezbollah and the terrorist regime, with its senior officials working to synchronize the activities of various terrorist organizations in Lebanon.
The IDF said the eliminated commanders advanced terrorist activities across Lebanon while hiding in a civilian hotel.
Three important commanders in the Quds Force were eliminated:
– Majid Hassani – was responsible for transferring funds to regime agents in Lebanon to finance activities of the terrorist organization Hezbollah, the Lebanon Corps, the Palestine Corps, the terrorist organization Hamas, and additional terrorist groups operating from Lebanon. Additionally, he was responsible for funding and producing weaponry to advance the military activities of the terrorist organization Hezbollah.
– Ali Reza Bay-Azar – served as the commander of the intelligence branch of the Lebanon Corps in the Quds Force. Bay-Azar was considered a significant knowledge center in the field of intelligence research, and in his role, he worked to gather intelligence for the terrorist organization Hezbollah.
– Ahmad Rasouli – served as the head of intelligence in the Quds Force’s Palestine Corps. In his role, he was responsible for gathering intelligence for Palestinian terrorist organizations in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.
In addition, Hassin Ahmadlou, who was an intelligence operative engaged in collecting intelligence on the State of Israel for terrorist purposes, and Abu Muhammad Ali, who was the representative of the terrorist organization Hezbollah in the Palestine Corps and was entrusted with the organization’s ongoing liaison with the Palestine Corps, were eliminated.
These commanders were eliminated following the elimination last week of the Lebanon Corps commander, Daoud Ali Zada.
“Their elimination constitutes a significant and essential blow to the Iranian presence in Lebanon and the terrorist organization Hezbollah,” said the IDF adding that it will “not allow the entrenchment of Iranian terrorist elements in Lebanese territory and will continue to eliminate commanders of the Iranian terrorist regime in a targeted manner wherever they operate.”
