Hezbollah Drone Violates Ceasefire in Lebanon, Is Shot Down
Hezbollah launched a drone violating a ceasefire in southern Lebanon, which was intercepted by the IDF before crossing into Israeli territory.
Jerusalem, 22 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The terrorist organization Hezbollah recently launched a hostile drone towards IDF (Israel Defense Forces) units operating south of Israel’s “front line of defense” in southern Lebanon.
The aircraft was intercepted by the Air Force and did not cross into Israeli territory. No alerts were activated according to policy.
“This is a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement,” said the IDF, adding that it will continue to work to clear the area under its control and eliminate threats to the citizens of the State of Israel and its forces.”
