Israeli Tech Firms Generate $7.3 Billion in Florida Economy, Study Finds

Israeli-founded tech companies contribute $7.3 billion to Florida's economy, creating over 26,000 jobs and marking a shift in U.S. tech investment.

Jerusalem, 23 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — A new study by 5WPR finds that Israeli-founded technology companies are increasingly choosing Florida over traditional business hubs such as New York, contributing to a steady shift in U.S. tech investment patterns.

The report by 5WPR, a U.S. marketing agency, found that Israeli companies contribute $7.3 billion to Florida’s economy. The report also identified 429 Israeli-founded companies operating across the state, supporting 26,510 jobs in total — including 8,190 direct positions. Miami-Dade County accounts for more than $6 billion in output, representing 2.78% of the county’s GDP.

The study attributed the trend to Florida’s tax environment, access to Latin American markets, and established Israeli community networks.
