Lufthansa Group Resumes Night Flights to Tel Aviv with Athens Stopovers
Lufthansa Group resumes night flights to Tel Aviv from Feb 11, with some routes stopping in Athens for crew changes through Feb 28.
Jerusalem, 11 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Lufthansa Group is resuming night flights to and from Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport, with some routes making a short stop in Athens for crew changes. Since January 15, the group — including Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings — had limited flights to daytime operations amid tensions with Iran.
Night flights by Lufthansa start immediately with the Athens stopover through February 28, while SWISS resumes night service on February 16 with the same arrangement. Austrian, Brussels, and Eurowings will continue nonstop.
Lufthansa Group said it will operate 65 weekly flights overall.
