Jerusalem, 31 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that its units responded to the car ramming terror attack Sunday night at the Gush Etzion Junction, located south of Jerusalem.
A fighter from the IDF’s Kfir Infantry Brigade eliminated the terrorist at the scene within “a short time,” said the IDF.
Israeli forces are currently carrying out blockades in the area.
Magn David Adom reported that its EMTs (emergency medical technicians) provided aid to four people who were wounded in the attack.
A 17-year-old girl in serious condition with injuries to her limbs and a 15-year-old girl in moderate condition with facial injuries were sent to Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem.
The Gush Etzion Junction is a major interchange on the road that heads south to Hebron and where many people wait at bus stops all day long.
