Israel Accelerates Production of Air Weapons
Israel's Defense Ministry is accelerating air weapon production, enabling the military to operate with fewer restrictions in Iran and Lebanon.
Jerusalem, 9 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Defense Ministry is speeding up the production of air weapons to support ongoing operations in Iran and potential expansion to other areas, officials said during a tour of Elbit Systems’ production lines.
Ministry Director General Maj. Gen. (Res.) Amir Baram said preparations over recent months allow the Israeli military to operate “almost without restriction” in Iran and Lebanon, and stressed the remanufacture of used munitions to ensure readiness for any scenario.
