Seven Abused Dogs Rescued

Jerusalem, 6 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — As missiles strike Israel, in Bnei Brak seven dogs, including three puppies, that suffered from severe neglect were rescued by the Gush Dan (Tel Aviv area) Veterinary Service and taken to a protected facility of the ministry.

They were rescued after information and complaints were received and the Ministry of Agriculture initiated an enforcement activity that centered on rescuing dogs from a home in the city of Bnei Brak.

According to an initial assessment, the dogs were intended for sale. The rescue was carried out under complex operational conditions, with teams operating in the field during alarms and missile firing. The dogs were immediately transferred for treatment and rehabilitation at a protected facility, and criminal proceedings were opened against the breeder.
