Rocket Strike in Kiryat Shmona Wounds Man

A rocket strike in Kiryat Shmona on Monday wounded a man in his 50s with shrapnel wounds to the face, emergency services reported.

Jerusalem, 23 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — A rocket strike hit Kiryat Shmona on Monday, wounding a man in his 50s, emergency services said. MDA medics and paramedics rushed to multiple reported impact sites and treated the victim at the scene. He was listed in moderate-to-serious condition with shrapnel wounds to the face.

“We arrived at a wounded man aged about 50 who was hit in the head by shrapnel from a missile while he was near a bus,” said MDA medic Taysir Sobakh. “We provided him with medical treatment, including bandaging and stopping the bleeding.”

Emergency responders are scanning the area for additional casualties.
