Message from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Travel Recommendation for those Travelling to the Basketball Game in the Canary Islands

Ahead of the Hapoel Tel Aviv vs. Gran Canaria basketball game scheduled to take place today evening (11/4) in Las Palmas, Spain, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that Israeli fans attending the game take extra precautionary measures:
•    Follow the guidelines and instructions issued by local authorities
•    Stay away from anti-Israeli demonstrations or protests
•    Avoid individual travel to the extent possible
•    Stay away from and avoid involvement in confrontations and provocations
•    When outside the stadium, it is recommended to avoid displaying team symbols (such as scarves, shirts, flags, etc.), as well as Israeli and Jewish symbols.
•    In the event of an emergency, stay informed through local media and follow the instructions of the authorities
