Judea & Samaria Police Arrest 2 for Online Incitement

Judea & Samaria Police arrested 2 suspects for online incitement, including calls to harm Israel and support terror during wartime.

Israel Police Crime

Since the beginning of Operation ‘Lion’s Roar’, forces from the Judea and Samaria District have arrested 32 suspects for incitement offenses. Over the past day, officers from the Judea and Samaria District, along with Border Police fighters from Judea and Samaria, acted to arrest suspects whose activities on social media were monitored by the intelligence center. Evidentiary groundwork was established for their calls to harm the State of Israel, encourage acts of terror, and support the enemy and its actions during wartime, thereby endangering the region’s security. Yesterday, early in the morning, detectives from the Benjamin station in the Shomron region, along with Border Police fighters from Judea and Samaria, raided the home of a resident of Avwein suspected of online incitement offenses against the State of Israel, while supporting terror and encouraging such acts. The suspect (22) was arrested and transferred for investigation at the Benjamin station. In another operation, riot police fighters from the ‘Arrow of Judea’ unit, under the direction of the Judea and Samaria District’s command center, located and arrested an additional suspect (Beit Ummar, 35) on Route 60 for online incitement offenses. Investigation materials indicate that the suspect encouraged a suspect affiliated with the Hamas terror organization to carry out attacks in the Judea and Samaria sector and praised Iran’s actions during Operation ‘Lion’s Roar’ and its Supreme Leader Khamenei. The suspect was transferred for investigation at the Eziyon station in the Judea region.
